The 44-second commercial was leaked by reliable gadget leaker Evan Blass, who has been keeping us updated on all things Moto Razr Ultra for months now. And let me tell you, this ad does not disappoint.
The phone itself still hasn’t been officially announced, but thanks to Blass, we have seen almost every aspect of it through leaked images, marketing videos, and even codenames for two alleged foldables (Juno and Venus).
While we don’t know the price or most specs of the Moto Razr Ultra just yet, we do know that a Motorola executive revealed the outer screen will measure 3.5 inches. Blass also tweeted that one version of the phone will be branded as the Razr 40 Ultra globally but called the Razr+ in the US. And according to Blass, there won’t be a “Razr Lite,” but rather a “Razr 40.”
As for the launch date, Blass has speculated that it could be June 1st, 2023, which would put it just before Google’s Pixel Fold and more than a month ahead of Samsung’s next Z Fold and Z Flip. So it looks like there will be some stiff competition in the foldable phone market.
