Say Goodbye to Dark Sky: iOS App Stopping Services Imminently

Hello followers!

It’s time to bid farewell to the beloved Dark Sky weather app for iOS. According to in-app warnings, the app will stop working on January 1st. If you haven’t already, it’s time to start looking for a new weather app to use. Although the Android app was axed in 2020, iPhone users still have a few options. Apple’s own built-in Weather app is a solid choice, and there are also several well-rated third-party apps such as Carrot Weather, AccuWeather, Weather Underground, and Ventusky. Just be sure to avoid any scammy apps with hidden recurring subscriptions. Although the Dark Sky app will no longer provide weather data, the service’s API will still be available to developers until March 31st, 2023. The app’s website will also remain active for three more months.
