Nuked Football fans are struggling to watch the first NFL Sunday ticket game of the season due to issues with DirecTV’s website and app. Some users report seeing an error page when trying to access the website, others say they ca n’t even sign in.
The Sunday ticket stream started several hours leading up to the game and are still ongoing. It’s unclear what exactly’s causing the issues.
Directv says it’s aware some customers are unable to access NFL Sunday ticket online or through the app.’our teams are working to resolve this, but in the meantime, we recommend satellite customers watch on TV,’ spokesperson alisha laventure said.
Directv started replying to some users’ complaints on Twitter. Users can’return to watching this afternoon’s out of market games’.
The newly-launched NFL plus subscription is supposed to let you watch live in-market games. Even football fans watching NFL RedZone on Sling TV and YouTube TV were n’t spared from outages.
Some customers currently do n’t have access to RedZone. We’re actively working to resolve the issue. We are aware that some customers do not have access.
Directv has held the rights to Sunday ticket since 1994. These rights expire at the end of this season. Several companies, like Google and Apple, are reportedly looking into securing Sunday ticket.
