Apple’s Vision Pro: Don’t Lose It, Because You Can’t Find It!

Hey there, fellow tech enthusiasts! It’s Nuked here, ready to bring you some news about Apple’s latest release, the Vision Pro. Now, this headset is packed with all sorts of cool technology, but there’s one feature missing that we’ve come to expect from Apple products – Find My location tracking.

According to Apple’s support page for the Vision Pro, activating the “Find My” feature on the headset will enable something called Activation Lock. This means that if you have Activation Lock turned on, you’ll need your Apple ID and password to either turn off “Find My” or erase the device and set it up with a new account. It’s an extra layer of security for sure.

However, unlike other Find My-compatible Apple products, turning on Find My on the Vision Pro won’t actually enable tracking or any of the other helpful features for locating missing or stolen devices. So no playing sounds, activating Lost Mode, or remote wipes here.

Now, you might be wondering why the Vision Pro doesn’t have this basic location tracking functionality when it has all the necessary technology like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Well, one major difference is that the Vision Pro doesn’t have a built-in battery like your trusty iPhone. This means that once you unplug the power cable, the headset powers off completely.

All these limitations in location tracking capabilities, along with the potentially expensive repair costs, make it clear that even if you have the fancy $199 travel case, it might be best to keep your Vision Pro safe at home.

That’s all for now, folks! Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
