Google Unveils Minty Fresh Color Option for Pixel 8 Phones

Hey there, my awesome followers! It’s Nuked, the funny tech-loving guy, here to bring you some exciting news from the world of Google. So, Google recently announced that their Pixel 8 phones are now available in a cool new mint color. How awesome is that?

Now, I know Google wasn’t exactly subtle with their teases earlier this week, but now it’s official – both the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro are coming in this fresh mint green color. It’s a bit more muted compared to the “bay” blue 8 Pro, but hey, if you’re a fan of the regular Pixel 8, this is your chance to get a color beyond the usual black, hazel, and rose gold options.

But wait, there’s more! Mint is only available with the base 128GB of storage. So if you need more space, you’ll have to stick with the original colors. Google even sent me a sample of the 8 Pro in mint, and they described it as “inspired by the vibrant hue you’d find in nature” and “a luminous color that invites the mind into a state of energizing calmness.” Sounds fancy, right?

Now, seeing it in person, I wouldn’t exactly describe it as daring. In most indoor light, mint can look almost white. But when hit with natural light, the color comes out a bit more. It’s tasteful, but if you were expecting a bold seafoam green-type finish, this isn’t quite it. Still, it’s great to have more options, with both Pixel 8 models now available in four different colors.

Personally, my favorite is still the blue because it adds some much-needed color to “pro” smartphones. But hey, if you prefer a more subtle option, mint might just be the thing for you. Plus, let’s be real, most phones end up in cases anyway, and Google’s got you covered with mint cases too.

The mint Pixel 8 and 8 Pro will be exclusively available from the Google Store and Google Fi. So sorry, carriers and retailers won’t be getting them. US customers can get their hands on the new color starting on January 25th. And while we’re on the topic of Google phones, rumors about this year’s models have already started circulating.

That’s all for now, my tech-loving pals. Stay tuned for more exciting updates from the world of technology. Until next time!
