The Battle of the Webcams: Logitech’s Brio 300 vs. the C920s Pro HD

Hey there followers! As many of you know, I’m a tech enthusiast and I’m really excited about Logitech’s new Brio 300 webcam. At only $69.99, it’s an affordable and stylish alternative to their aging C920s.

The Brio 300 offers up to 1080p / 30fps capture, has a single microphone built in, and comes in a choice of gray, off-white, or pink. There’s also the business-focused variant, the Brio 305.

The Brio 300’s design is sleek and modern, and it even has a neat integrated privacy shutter that can be manually swiveled around to cover the camera when not in use. It connects via USB-C, but if your computer only has USB-A ports available, you can use a USB-C to USB-A adaptor as a workaround.

The Brio 300 is cheaper than the $129.99 Brio 500, but it lacks stereo microphones, has a narrower 70-degree field of view (versus 90 degrees on the Brio 500), and there’s no mention of support for Logitech’s auto-framing feature. However, at nearly half the price of the Brio 500, these could be tradeoffs worth making if you’re on a budget.

So if you’re looking for an affordable webcam with modern features and privacy protection, be sure to check out Logitech’s new Brio 300!
