OnePlus 11: A Galaxy-Inspired Smartphone with a Black Hole Camera Bump

Hey guys! Nuked here and I’ve got some exciting news for all you tech enthusiasts out there. The latest flagship smartphone from Oppo sub-brand, OnePlus, has just been announced for the Chinese market – the OnePlus 11. But that’s not all, the company has also revealed a brand new pair of true wireless earbuds – the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. Let’s dive into the details!

To start, the OnePlus 11 boasts a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, with up to 16GB of RAM. It also has a 5,000mAh battery that charges at an impressive 100W in the Chinese version of the device. However, US customers may not be able to take advantage of the full charging speed due to North America’s 110V sockets. On the back of the phone, you’ll find three cameras – a 50-megapixel main camera, a 48-megapixel ultrawide, and a 32-megapixel sensor for portrait shots. Additionally, there’s a “13-channel multi-spectral light-colour identifying sensor,” which OnePlus claims allows the phone to handle “all photography scenarios.”

But what really sets the OnePlus 11 apart is its bold new circular design for the rear camera bump, which the company says is “inspired by black holes.” And speaking of black holes, let’s move on to the new earbuds – the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. These bad boys feature a dual-driver design consisting of 11mm drivers for bass and 6mm drivers for trebles and mids, as well as support for spatial audio and six-axis motion sensors to track the listener’s head position. They also have user-selectable EQ settings and support active noise cancellation, as well as Bluetooth 5.3 LE audio. And with a battery life of up to 39 hours, you won’t have to worry about running out of juice anytime soon.

The OnePlus 11 and Buds Pro 2 will be available for purchase in China on January 9th, with the global launch of the OnePlus 11 set for February 7th. In China, the OnePlus 11 will start at ¥3,999 (around $580) for a model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and go up to ¥4,899 (around $710) for the highest end version with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
