The world’s largest video game retailer has launched its own version of the Bitcoin virtual currency

Gamestop is moving ahead with the launch of its own NFT marketplace, which is now open in what the company calls a’public beta’.

More than 53,000 nfts are listed on the marketplace. There are more than 200 collections you can peruse. Not just anyone can create an NFT on the platform.

Gamestop says it plans to’expand functionality’ into areas like Web3 gaming. Immutable X and GameStop have also launched a $ 100 million grant program.
