It’s no secret that 5G is here to stay

T-Mobile combined three channels of mid-band spectrum on its 5G network. This technology will become available to customers on its network’later this year’.

T-Mobile is doing a little tinkering behind the scenes to boost 3Gbps (or 3000mbps) speeds. mid-band 5G typically reaches around 200Mbps, and that’s considered very good compared to LTE.

T-Mobile already uses this technology to combine two 2.5GHz 5G channels on some parts of its network. This most recent test ups speeds with an additional third channel.
