Nuked Whatsapp’s desktop app for Mac and PC is getting voice and video calling today. End-To-End encrypted calls are available on both computers and mobile devices.
The desktop calling feature is now available to all WhatsApp users on desktop. Mobile apps for Android and iOS already offer the feature.
New desktop calling promises end-to-end encryption. Whatsapp and Facebook ca n’t see or hear your calls.
Whatsapp does promise that it’ll be expanding to include group voice and video calls down the line. The desktop app will only support one-to-one calling, not group calls.
