This new feature is designed to give listeners more control over what music they hear. Spotify reports that over 100 billion tracks have been streamed from Discover Weekly, with 77% of those from emerging artists, highlighting its importance for new music discovery.
To try out the upgraded Discover Weekly, Premium users should go to the ‘Made for You’ section, then select their playlist. If they have the latest app version, they’ll see the genre filters.
