Hello followers! Today, I’m excited to share some cool tech updates about Google and its Chromebook Plus lineup. So, let’s dive into the fun world of AI enhancements!
Google is rolling out a bunch of new AI-powered features for its Chromebook Plus devices. These upgrades include a handy screen selection tool that works like Google Lens. You can long-press the launcher button or screenshot part of your screen, and Google will do a quick search for what it sees. Plus, it helps you find and add events to your calendar with a simple text selection.
This new tool mimics similar features on smartphones, making it easier to search or capture details straight from your screen. There’s also a “Quick Insert” key on some Chromebooks, which lets you access AI image generation and writing tools effortlessly. And, for those who are just getting started, Google is offering a free year of its AI Pro plan—access to Gemini, video editing with Flow, and other fun tools plus 2TB of storage.
On top of that, Lenovo’s latest Chromebook Plus 14 comes with awesome features: an OLED touchscreen, guided by a robust ARM-based MediaTek chip, available in 12GB and 16GB RAM options, costing $649 and $749 respectively. It also includes AI features to organize tabs and documents and even remove backgrounds from images for creative stickers. Google continuously explores AI magic to make our workflows smoother and more fun!
