Tesla continues its stronghold with four top spots, including the top-ranked Model 3, renowned for its American roots. But here’s the twist: six of the top ten vehicles are EVs, showcasing a major industry shift.
Other EVs making waves are the Kia EV6 and Volkswagen ID.4, grabbing positions six and ten respectively. What’s remarkable? The Kia EV6 boasts an impressive 80% of parts sourced from North America, the highest percentage among current models. The index evaluates factors like where cars are assembled, parts origin, and workforce in the U.S., covering around 400 vehicles for 2025.
