Meta is all set to introduce its Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses in India starting May 19. These cool gadgets will retail at ₹29,990 (roughly $353) and are currently available for pre-order on Ray-Ban’s official Indian website. Once launched, you’ll find them in Ray-Ban stores too.
The smart glasses pack some impressive tech, including Meta AI, which can answer questions about what’s happening around you, translate live audio and video, send messages, make calls, and more. They already support offline live translation in multiple languages like English, French, Italian, and Spanish, although Indian languages have yet to be added.
Music lovers can rejoice, as the glasses will connect seamlessly with apps like Spotify, Amazon Music, Shazam, and Apple Music, allowing users in India to enjoy their favorite tunes directly through the glasses. Since their launch in 2023, Meta has sold approximately 2 million pairs of these stylish eyewear.
