Hello to all my tech-loving friends! Today, we’re excited to dive into Amazon’s latest release that aims to spark creativity and curiosity in our little ones.
Amazon has unveiled two new features for its Alexa+ assistant, specifically designed for kids: ‘Explore with Alexa’ and ‘Stories with Alexa.’ These innovative tools are set to encourage imaginative play and help children discover fun facts.
With ‘Explore with Alexa,’ children can engage in conversations that promote learning. For example, they might ask if plants can talk, and Alexa will delightfully respond with, ‘Plants communicate, but not in words!’ Such interactions aim to make knowledge accessible and fun.
Then there’s ‘Stories with Alexa,’ where kids can prompt Alexa to spin tales based on their imagination. Whether it’s a bearded dragon playing the saxophone or any other quirky scenario, Alexa is ready to weave enchanting stories tailored to the child’s creative prompts.
Mara Segal, Amazon’s director for Alexa, emphasizes that these features are designed not just to answer questions but to engage kids in new and exciting ways, fostering natural conversation and rich visual experiences.
Available through the Amazon Kids+ subscription, priced at $5.99 monthly for Prime members, these features are crafted for children aged 3-12, opening up a world of stories, games, and discovery!
