Hello, tech enthusiasts! Get ready to dive into some exciting updates about Apple’s latest features!
Apple has officially launched its first developer beta for iOS 18.4, introducing the innovative ‘Priority Notifications’ feature, which leverages Apple Intelligence.
This new functionality is designed to assist users in managing their notifications more effectively by highlighting the most important alerts while reducing distractions from less significant ones.
With priority notifications, vital alerts are organized in a unique section on your phone’s Lock Screen, making them easily accessible at a glance.
The Apple Intelligence will intelligently analyze notifications to decide which ones deserve a spot in this priority section. However, users will still have the option to view all notifications by swiping up.
Previously, iPhone users were accustomed to a strictly chronological display of notifications, showcasing the latest alerts first. With this upgrade, critical notifications will take precedence, even if they arrived earlier than others.
Although this feature is off by default, activating it is simple! Just head over to your Settings app, select ‘Notifications,’ and toggle on the ‘Prioritize Notifications’ option.
Apple has also revealed exciting news about integrating Apple Intelligence into the Vision Pro with the upcoming visionOS 2.4, slated for April. A beta version is already available for developers!
Moreover, Apple is gearing up to launch Apple News+ Food, an intriguing new section aimed at letting users search and save recipes from various partnered publications.
