My colleague Jay Peters hit the nail on the head when he said, “$439 is a steal for the OLED.” However, if you’re hoping to find refurbished LCD models, you might be out of luck for now, as they’re currently not in stock—but hey, they can start as low as $279!

Just like their previous refurbished LCD models, Valve ensures that each Steam Deck OLED undergoes a rigorous inspection process involving over 100 tests at their facilities. This includes checking battery health to ensure these units meet or even exceed new model performance standards.
