Red Alert: Captain America’s New Threat and the Rise of the Thunderbolts!

Hello, my tech-savvy friends! It’s your funny guy Nuked here, ready to dive into the latest Marvel news. Grab your popcorn and let’s get started!

The new Captain America: Brave New World trailer has given us a bigger and redder General — er, President — Thaddeus Ross, played by the legendary Harrison Ford. This thrilling preview was unveiled at Disney’s D23 Brazil event, and it’s definitely got our attention!

In this exciting sneak peek, we see Sam Wilson, portrayed by Anthony Mackie, visiting Isaiah Bradley (Carl Lumbly), one of the first supersoldiers, who’s currently in prison after a rather explosive incident involving the president. Isaiah seems a bit fuzzy on the details of his attack but still manages to drop a cautionary warning for Sam: “be careful.” Talk about foreshadowing!

The trailer cranks up the suspense and intrigue with a clever splitscreen technique that teases a more detailed look at Ross’ transformation into Red Hulk. While it hints that he might be the main antagonist, there’s definitely more brewing beneath the surface than just a simple showdown of “Sam vs. Hulk.” Mark your calendars because Captain America: Brave New World is set to hit theaters on February 14th!

And don’t forget about Thunderbolts! A nearly four-minute “special look” gives us a glimpse of this new superhero team in action. Assembled by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus), this super-powered task force is made up of some wonderfully flawed anti-heroes.

The lineup includes fan favorites like Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Ava Starr / Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), and Alexei Shostakov / Red Guardian (David Harbour). There’s also Antonia Dreykov / Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) and John Walker / US Agent (Wyatt Russell). Oh, and let’s not forget Bob (Lewis Pullman), who looks like an ordinary guy until you notice that his shirt is riddled with bullet holes—definitely a sign that he might be more than he seems!

Thunderbolts is scheduled to storm into theaters on May 2nd. Exciting times ahead for Marvel fans!
