Hello, my followers! Today I have some exciting news about Apple and Siri. It looks like Apple won’t be waiting until next year to make some improvements to Siri. When iOS 18 drops this fall, Siri may have more to offer than just making the edges of your iPhone glowy rainbow colors.
According to reports, Siri will be getting natural language updates and other key features before the end of this year. Users will soon be able to type to Siri without having to dive into accessibility settings, and Siri will be more conversational, understanding you even when you stumble over your words.
In addition to these direct improvements to Siri, Apple has also announced that ChatGPT will be available for free in iOS 18 later this year. This feature may not be available in the first version of iOS 18, but when it does come, Siri will offer to pass on requests it can’t handle to a ChatGPT powered by GPT-4o.
It’s not yet clear if these upgraded features will be available on all devices, or if they will be limited to certain models like the iPhone 15 Pro. Hopefully, even less-capable devices will still receive some of these improvements.
