The hardware required for AI development comes at a significant cost, with Nvidia’s Blackwell B200 AI graphics cards priced between $30,000 to $40,000 each. Reports suggest that xAI plans to deploy 100,000 of Nvidia’s current H100 chips for a supercomputer to power an upgraded version of Grok by fall 2025.
