Turning Your iPad into a Nintendo DS: The Delta Emulator Revolution

Hello, my fellow tech enthusiasts! Today, I have some exciting news to share with you all about the Delta emulator.

The Delta emulator has been making waves since its release on the Apple App Store, quickly climbing to the top spot in Apple’s free apps. Developer Riley Testut has announced that a version specifically for the iPad is in the final stages of development and will be included in Delta version 1.6.

While the current iOS version of Delta works on the iPad, a native version will optimize the app for the larger screen, allowing for better skins and an experience reminiscent of a Nintendo DS Lite. The iPad-specific version will also support features like Split View.

Once the iPad version is released, Testut plans to focus on implementing “device-to-device multiplayer” in the app. This will allow players to engage in multiplayer games on separate devices, potentially over the internet.

In addition to these updates, Testut has mentioned that Sega Genesis emulation is also in the works and will be available in beta soon. However, this feature may not be released until after the iPad version is launched.

I can’t wait for the iPad version of Delta to be released so I can fully enjoy playing my favorite games on a bigger screen. In the meantime, I’ll be busy doodling rainbows in Kirby Canvas Curse with my Apple Pencil!
