Hey there, my tech-savvy followers! Nuked here with some exciting news from Twitch.
After almost a year of testing, Twitch is finally rolling out its new TikTok-style discovery feed to all users later this month. This new feature will allow you to easily scroll through separate feeds dedicated to clips and current livestreams.
The discovery feed will be launched as a tab within the mobile app, and some users may even see it as the homepage of their app next month. All livestreams and clips that meet Twitch’s content guidelines are eligible to appear in this new feed.
When browsing through the live feed, you’ll come across live content from creators you follow, as well as streams recommended by Twitch. If you find something that catches your eye, you can tap on the creator’s avatar to enter theater mode and interact with the livestream.
On the clips stream, you’ll find a collection of shortform videos taken from Twitch livestreams. Twitch will also indicate when a creator is live so you can tune in for more content. Just keep in mind that ads will be present within the feed, although you can easily scroll past them without any interruption to your viewing experience.
