Blackmagic Design Unveils Affordable DaVinci Resolve Editing Panel for iPads

Hey there, my fellow tech enthusiasts! Nuked here with some exciting news from Blackmagic Design. The company has just announced the release of a new DaVinci Resolve editing panel specifically designed for iPads. How cool is that?

At just $495, the DaVinci Resolve Micro Color Panel is a more affordable option compared to Blackmagic’s other color panels. It features three weighted trackballs and 12 control knobs that allow you to adjust shadows, highlights, contrast, and mid-tones with ease.

The size of the Micro Color Panel is similar to that of a computer keyboard, making it compact and portable. It can be connected to your iPad via Bluetooth or USB-C, and it even comes with an iPad Pro mounting slot for added convenience.

Blackmagic has ensured that many of the controls found on the larger panels are also present on the Micro Color Panel, making it familiar and easy to use for experienced editors. The company will also be offering localized versions of the panel in multiple languages.

If you’re curious to see the DaVinci Resolve Micro Color Panel in action, be sure to check it out at Blackmagic’s booth (#SL5005) at NAB 2024. It’s definitely a game-changer for iPad editing enthusiasts like us!
