Hello my amazing followers! Today I want to talk about the exciting news from Kobo. They have announced their first color e-readers, the Kobo Libra Colour and the Kobo Clara Colour. Both of these e-readers use E Ink’s latest Kaleido color screen technology, offering subtle, pastel-like hues.
I can’t wait to get my hands on these e-readers and test them out. From what I can see so far, they seem like small upgrades to Kobo’s existing e-readers, which is definitely not a bad thing! The Kobo Libra Colour comes with physical page-turning buttons and is compatible with the Kobo Stylus 2 for taking notes. On the other hand, the Kobo Clara Colour offers an improved processor and more storage compared to its predecessor.
The pricing for these new e-readers is also something to consider. The Kobo Libra Colour is priced at $219.99, while the Kobo Clara Colour comes in at $149.99. Both devices are available for pre-order starting today and will ship on April 30th.
Kobo also introduced an upgraded black-and-white version of the Kobo Clara, the Kobo Clara BW, which comes with storage and processor upgrades for $129.99. It’s great to see Kobo continuing to innovate and improve their e-reader lineup.
