The launch of Fortnite’s Greek mythology-themed Chapter 5: Season 2 was delayed after a longer-than-usual maintenance period. Players eagerly awaited the update, which finally became available on Friday evening.
After 9PM ET, players were able to download the updates and get back into the game. However, some encountered issues such as long queues or error messages when trying to log in.
Fortunately, Epic Games has confirmed that the v29.00 update is now live. They are also aware of reports of “stability issues” on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles and are working to address them.
Update March 8th, 11:03PM ET: The game is back online and ongoing issues are being addressed.
