Chapter 5: Season 2, titled “Myths & Mortals,” is all about playing as Greek gods, battling across Mount Olympus, and wielding powerful weapons like Zeus’ thunderbolt.
One of the highlights of this new season are the new mythological locations added to the map. Players can now explore Mount Olympus and the underworld, guarded by the fearsome Cerberus. There are also exciting power-ups and items to collect, such as the Wings of Icarus for flying, Zeus’ bolts for lightning attacks, and the Chains of Hades weapon.
Of course, a new season means a new battle pass with tons of rewards. Players who purchase this season’s battle pass can unlock Greek gods like Aphrodite, Medusa, and even a cute Slurp Juice version of Poseidon. And later in the season, Korra from The Legend of Korra will be unlockable as well.
Myths & Mortals is part of Fortnite’s transition into a platform for various games and experiences. With the launch of Chapter 5, we’ve seen collaborations like Lego Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival.
