Hello, my lovely followers! Today we have some exciting news for all you Windows users out there. Windows is joining the AI photo editing game with its own version of a Magic Eraser tool, called Generative erase.
Google and Samsung aren’t the only ones with AI photo editing features anymore. Microsoft has announced Generative erase, a feature in the Photos app for Windows that allows you to selectively remove objects from your photos using the power of AI.
While this may not be as flashy as other AI tricks you’ve seen, the best part is that you don’t need to buy a new device to access this feature. Microsoft is rolling out Generative erase to Windows 11 and backporting all AI edit features to Windows 10 as well.
For now, these tools are only available to Windows Insiders. If you’re a Windows Insider, make sure to update your Photos app to version number 2024.11020.21001.0 or higher to start using Generative erase.
