Resident Evil 4 Remake Reloads with Immersive VR Mode

Hey there, my tech-loving followers! I’ve got some exciting news for all you Resident Evil 4 fans out there. Brace yourselves for a change in perspective, because the upcoming remake of Resident Evil 4 will be adding a VR mode to the game. How cool is that?

The PS5 version of RE4 will receive a free update on December 8th, bringing VR mode to the game. According to the press release, this new mode will allow players to experience Leon S. Kennedy’s intense rescue mission in a whole new way. Get ready to see the terrifying world of Resident Evil 4 directly through Leon’s eyes, thanks to the immersive 4K HDR display of PlayStation VR2.

Now, I know some of you might find the idea of facing off against zombies in VR a bit too challenging (I’m right there with you!). But fear not, because RE4VR will also include a shooting range game mode. This will help you get accustomed to the controls and give you a chance to test out the various weapons that Leon will use throughout his journey.

If even that seems like too much for you, don’t worry. The original Resident Evil 4 also has its own VR version available on the Meta Quest 2. So, whether you’re a VR pro or just dipping your toes into this immersive technology, there’s an option for everyone.

But wait, there’s more! The addition of VR mode is just one part of the special attention being given to the RE4 remake. This game has become an unlikely contender for this year’s Game of the Year award, and it’s even been selected to debut on the highly anticipated Apple iPhone 15 Pro alongside other popular titles like Resident Evil Village, Death Stranding, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

So mark your calendars, VR enthusiasts! Resident Evil 4 VR Mode will be launching on the PSVR2 on December 8th. Get ready for some heart-pounding, immersive zombie action like never before. It’s going to be a wild ride!
