Unmasking the Unlabeled: X Users Expose Clickbait Ads That Can’t Be Blocked or Reported

Hey there, my tech-savvy followers! It’s your favorite funny guy, Nuked, here to share some interesting news with you. So, let’s dive right into it!

X users, previously known as Twitter users, have recently reported something quite peculiar. According to Mashable, these users have come across some sneaky unlabeled ads while casually scrolling through their feeds on X’s mobile apps. And guess what? These ads are causing quite a stir!

Now, what makes these ads different from the usual ones? Well, when users tap on them, instead of being taken to a company X account or being able to block or report them, they are redirected to other websites. Sneaky, right? What’s even more intriguing is that these new ads have no account associated with them, making it harder to distinguish them from regular posts.

Imagine just scrolling through your feed, minding your own business, and suddenly coming across an ad that looks like any other post. The embedded image and clickbait-style text might trick you into thinking it’s just another regular update. And to complete the illusion, there’s even a “profile” picture made from the embedded image itself. Crafty, huh?

Some users have taken it upon themselves to share examples of these mysterious ads. Unfortunately, neither I nor my colleagues at The Verge have encountered them in our own feeds. But fear not, Mashable has got our backs! They’ve shared some screenshots to give us a glimpse of what these tricky ads look like.

Now here comes the interesting part – according to Mashable, the format of these ads doesn’t seem to be part of X’s ad campaign manager. Instead, it appears that a third-party ad provider is behind them. Quite the plot twist!

So, my dear followers, have any of you stumbled upon these unlabeled clickbait ads during your scrolling adventures on X? Let me know in the comments below! Stay tuned for more tech-related fun and news from yours truly, Nuked!
