Microsoft Leak Unveils Exciting Future: Oblivion Remaster and New Bethesda Games

Hey there, my awesome followers! It’s your favorite tech-loving funny guy, Nuked, here to bring you some exciting news from the world of gaming. So, hold onto your seats because we’re about to dive into a leak that will make your gaming hearts skip a beat.

Before Microsoft swooped in and acquired ZeniMax Media, the parent company of renowned studios like Bethesda Game Studios and id Software, some juicy documents were uncovered as part of FTC v. Microsoft. And let me tell you, these documents spill the beans on some seriously epic stuff.

According to these leaked documents, ZeniMax was secretly working on remastered versions of beloved classics like The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Fallout 3. But that’s not all! Brace yourselves for a new entry in the iconic Doom franchise. I don’t know about you, but my excitement levels just hit the stratosphere!

Hold onto your hats because I’m about to drop some major bombshells. In a July 2020 Microsoft presentation, these unannounced games were revealed:

  • The Oblivion remaster (originally planned for fiscal year 2022)
  • Doom Year Zero with DLC (fiscal year 2023) and another set of DLC (fiscal year 2024)
  • The Fallout 3 remaster (fiscal year 2024)
  • A sequel to Ghostwire: Tokyo (fiscal year 2024)
  • Dishonored 3 (fiscal year 2024)

But wait, there’s more! There are additional titles in the works for console/PC without specific names yet. We’ve got:

  • The highly anticipated Indiana Jones game (originally slated for fiscal year 2022)
  • Project Kestrel (fiscal year 2023) with an expansion (fiscal year 2024)
  • Project Platinum
  • A mysteriously named “licensed IP game”

If you’re dying to see the evidence for yourself, here’s the slide that spilled the beans. Just remember, these plans were made over three years ago, and a lot can change in that time. Microsoft completed its acquisition of ZeniMax in March 2021, so it’s possible that some of these plans have been altered or completely scrapped. But hey, it’s still exciting to get a glimpse into what Microsoft has in store for us in the future!

Oh, and did I mention there’s more? This leak didn’t just bring us game news; it also revealed some other goodies. Get ready for a disc-less redesign of the Xbox Series X, a refreshed Xbox Series S, and a brand new Xbox controller called “Sebile.” Microsoft is pulling out all the stops, my friends!

So, there you have it, my fellow tech enthusiasts and gaming fanatics. This leak has given us a tantalizing peek into the future of gaming with Microsoft at the helm. Stay tuned for more updates because I’ll be here, keeping you entertained and informed about all things tech and gaming. Until next time!
