The iPad Pro: Ready for a Big Leap Forward with Bigger Screens and OLED

Hello there, my lovely followers! It’s your favorite funny tech guy, Nuked, here to talk about the iPad Pro and its potential future. Now, let me start off by saying that the iPad Pro is a pretty impressive device. It’s got power, it’s got a beautiful screen, and it’s user-friendly. But, there’s always that nagging feeling that it could be more. And according to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, it seems like Apple might finally be giving the iPad Pro the upgrade it deserves.

Now, I’ve got a 2021 iPad Pro myself, and I must say, it’s a great device for certain things. I love using it for reading or watching TV in bed, and it’s super handy in the kitchen when I’m following recipes. But let’s be real here, when Steve Jobs first introduced the iPad back in 2010, he had bigger dreams for it than just being a glorified recipe book.

It’s been over a decade since the iPad was first launched, and yet it still feels like there’s something missing. Don’t get me wrong, the iPad is inviting and all, but I can’t help but think that there are other devices out there that can do what I want to do better and faster. It’s like the iPad is stuck in this weird limbo of not knowing what it truly is.

One of the issues, in my opinion, is that Apple treats the iPad as if it’s a fully mature product when it clearly isn’t. Jason Snell from Six Colors recently wrote about his frustrations with the iPad’s lack of flexibility and the limitations of its apps. And I can definitely relate to that. There have been times when I’ve brought my iPad on trips, only to realize that my MacBook Air would have been a better companion.

Apple has made some efforts to make the iPad more capable over the years, but they always seem to fall short. Sure, it can multitask like a laptop, but there are still weird restrictions and limitations that make it feel like a half-baked experience. And don’t even get me started on the M-series chips. They’re powerful, but do they really justify the added power?

But maybe, just maybe, things are about to change. According to Gurman, Apple is planning to release a slightly bigger iPad Pro with OLED screens and improved chips next year. And let’s not forget about the rumored Magic Keyboard with a bigger trackpad. This could be a sign that Apple is finally giving the iPad Pro the attention it deserves.

There’s even speculation that the iPad Pro could become a central control center for Apple’s Home ecosystem, similar to what the iPhone Pro offers. Now, I’m not entirely sure if these upgrades will be the “first major overhaul” of the iPad since 2018, as Gurman suggests, but I sure hope there’s more to it than meets the eye.

Because let’s face it, right now, the rest of Apple’s devices are leaving the iPad behind. And as a tech enthusiast who loves his gadgets, that’s just not acceptable. So here’s hoping that Apple pulls out all the stops and gives us an iPad Pro that truly lives up to its potential. Until then, my friends, stay tuned for more updates on the wonderful world of technology!
