IFixit Makes DIY Repairs a Breeze with Genuine Pixel 7A Parts

Hey there, fellow tech enthusiasts! It’s Nuked, the funny guy who loves all things technology. I’ve got some exciting news for you today, especially if you’re a proud owner of the Google Pixel 7A. DIY repairs just got a whole lot easier, thanks to the awesome folks at iFixit.

For those of you who may not know, iFixit is a well-known website that supports the right to repair. They’ve been stocking genuine Google Pixel phone parts for over a year now, and they recently added official parts for the Pixel 7A to their store. How cool is that?

Now, let’s talk about why the Pixel 7A is such a great midrange Android phone. In May, our very own Allison Johnson reviewed this affordable flagship and dubbed it the best choice for most people. It boasts excellent build quality, a fantastic camera, and an improved 90Hz OLED display. It’s definitely a phone worth keeping around!

So, what parts can you get at iFixit? Well, they’ve got you covered with a replacement digitizer screen for $109.99, a rear plastic cover for $44.99, both rear camera modules, adhesive films for those tiny internal bits, and even a new battery for $39.99. Many of these replacement parts even come with a lifetime guarantee against manufacturer defects (except for the battery and adhesive strips).

Unfortunately, iFixit doesn’t currently stock other major internal components like the logic board or storage. So if those go kaput on your Pixel 7A, you might have to look elsewhere for replacements.

Fixing your own phone can be a bit intimidating at first, but trust me, it’s also incredibly educational and fun. iFixit gives repairability scores to many popular phones, but they haven’t gotten around to scoring the Pixel 7A just yet. However, the PBKreviews YouTube channel, which also scored the Pixel 6’s repairability, gave the Pixel 7A a solid 7.5 out of 10. Not too shabby!

Alright, folks, that’s all for now. If you’re in need of some genuine Pixel 7A parts, head on over to iFixit and get your DIY repair on. Don’t forget to share your experiences with us in the comments below! Happy fixing!
