But it wasn’t just me facing these issues. Several of my colleagues here at The Verge also had trouble loading pages, and Downdetector showed a whopping peak of nearly 30,000 user reports. It seems like Reddit was experiencing quite the hiccup!

Luckily, Reddit swiftly took action and resolved the incident. They even posted a message on their status site at 6:15 PM ET to inform us about the successful resolution.
