In one tweet, he even mentioned bidding farewell to the “twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds.”

As the tweets kept pouring in, Musk hinted at the impending change amidst his other posts and replies. He joined a Twitter Spaces session called “No one talk until we summon Elon Musk” and playfully remained silent for almost an hour before confirming that he would be changing Twitter’s logo. In fact, he humorously stated that they would even cut the Twitter logo from the building using blowtorches!

Reports suggest that Musk also sent an email to Twitter employees, informing them about the rebranding. According to Platformer managing editor Zoe Schiffer, this email was likely referring to the logo change since Twitter’s business had already been renamed X corp.

Now, let’s talk about the new logo! Musk pinned a GIF created by Twitter user Sawyer Merritt, who offered the logo that was previously used for his discontinued podcast. Musk mentioned that he would be going with a “minimalist art deco” logo, but he might make some refinements later. The new logo has also been shared by Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino, who expressed her excitement by saying, “X is here! Let’s do this.” And you know what?
