The Super Mario Bros. Movie Takes Over Twitter: Copyright Law vs. Elon Musk

Hello, my lovely followers! It’s your favorite tech-loving comedian, Nuked, back with another ridiculous story from the internet. Today’s topic? The Super Mario Bros. movie. Yes, that’s right – the entire movie has been circulating on Twitter for weeks now, and it seems like nobody can do anything about it.

Now, we all know that copyright law is the king of the internet. If you post something that infringes on someone else’s copyright, you can expect to get shut down pretty quickly. But apparently, Elon Musk didn’t get the memo. He recently fired most of Twitter’s trust and safety team and increased the video length limit, which means that people can now post entire movies without fear of getting caught.

One copy of The Super Mario Bros. movie has been up since April 28th and has already racked up over 9 million views. And it’s not just this movie – Avatar: The Way of Water is also making the rounds on Twitter thanks to this loophole.

It makes you wonder why Twitter didn’t enable 60-minute uploads before – maybe they knew that it would lead to a flood of copyrighted content being shared on their platform. But now that the floodgates are open, it seems like there’s no turning back.

So what does this mean for the future of Twitter? Who knows. Maybe we’ll start seeing more and more movies being shared on the platform, or maybe Elon Musk will change his mind and crack down on copyright infringement. Either way, I’ll be here to make fun of it all.

What do you think about this whole situation? Should Twitter be doing more to stop copyrighted content from being shared on their platform? Or is this just the natural evolution of the internet? Let me know in the comments!
