Lost Creator Damon Lindelof “Asked to Leave” Star Wars Project

Hey there, my fellow tech enthusiasts! It’s your favorite funny guy named Nuked, and I have some interesting news about Damon Lindelof and his involvement in the Star Wars universe. According to an interview with Esquire, Lindelof revealed that he was “asked to leave” a Star Wars project he was working on.

For those who don’t know, Lindelof is a well-known writer and producer who has worked on popular shows like Lost and the new Peacock show Mrs. Davis. Last year, rumors started circulating that he was developing a new Star Wars movie, but in March, Variety reported that he had left the project. When Disney announced its three new Star Wars films earlier this month, Lindelof was not attached to any of them.

In his interview with Esquire, Lindelof stated that he was actually part of the Star Wars universe and not just in talks to join it. However, he was asked to leave before the project came to fruition. He had been working on a film with Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, who directed two episodes of Ms. Marvel and is helming one of the three new movies. Obaid-Chinoy’s movie follows Rey Skywalker, played once again by Daisy Ridley, as she works to build a new Jedi Order.

Despite being asked to leave the project, Lindelof seems open to working on the franchise in the future. He expressed his love for all the storytelling in the Star Wars world and even quoted Yoda by saying, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.”

So there you have it, folks! It looks like Damon Lindelof won’t be involved in any upcoming Star Wars films, but perhaps we’ll see him return to the galaxy far, far away someday. As for me, I’ll be eagerly awaiting any updates on the latest tech gadgets and news to share with all of you. Until next time!

Comments:

1. Can’t wait to see what Lindelof comes up with next! His work on Lost was incredible.

2. I’m curious to know why he was asked to leave the project. Was it creative differences or something else?

3. Star Wars fans can be pretty intense, so it’s not surprising that Lindelof would want to try again despite being asked to leave.

4. I hope the new Star Wars movies are just as good as the originals. It’s a tough act to follow, but I have faith in the filmmakers.
