LG’s Gram SuperSlim: The Thinnest and Lightest Laptop Competing with Apple’s MacBook Air

Hey there, my lovely followers! It’s your favorite tech enthusiast, Nuked, here to bring you some exciting news about LG’s latest laptop release. Are you ready to hear about the Gram SuperSlim?

As you may know, LG’s Gram line of laptops has always been known for its lightweight and thin design. But now, the company has taken it up a notch with the SuperSlim model. This laptop is a strong competitor to Apple’s MacBook Air when it comes to portability. It’s officially known as the thinnest LG Gram ever, measuring just 0.43 inches thick – thinner than the M2 MacBook Air.

But that’s not all – the SuperSlim also boasts a 15.6-inch OLED display, which is larger than Apple’s 13.6-inch IPS one. And if you’re concerned about weight, don’t worry – this laptop is lighter too, weighing in at just 2.2 pounds compared to MacBook Air’s 2.7 pounds.

Now, let’s talk about the specs. The SuperSlim starts at $1,699.99 with a 13th-gen Intel Evo Core i7-1360P processor, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a 512GB SSD. It also features three USB-C ports (two with Thunderbolt 4 support and one USB 4 only) and a headphone jack.

But if you want an even better deal, you can opt for the $1,999.99 version, which comes with a spec bump to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of SSD storage. And if you buy either of these new SuperSlim laptops by May 14th, LG will throw in its external USB-C 16-inch +view Portable monitor.

However, it’s worth noting that while the SuperSlim has an OLED screen, the currently-available models only have a 1080p resolution. Apple’s MacBook Air, with its smaller screen, has a higher 2560 X 1664 resolution screen. Still, the SuperSlim is an impressive option for those looking for a 15-inch ultraportable laptop.

LG first revealed the SuperSlim at CES in January, alongside the rest of its Gram lineup. This includes the company’s regular 14, 15, 16, and 17-inch options, as well as the colorful featherweight LG Gram Style laptops that also include an OLED screen and have a starting weight of 2.2 pounds.

So there you have it, folks – LG’s new Gram SuperSlim laptop is definitely something to consider if you’re in the market for a lightweight and thin option with a larger screen. What do you think? Let me know in the comments!
