Hey there, my fellow tech enthusiasts! It’s your favorite funny guy, Nuked, back with some exciting news! According to social media consultant Matt Navarra, TikTok is reportedly working on a new feature that will create AI-generated profile pictures. And trust me, folks, these avatars are unlike anything you’ve seen before!
So, what exactly does this new feature entail? Well, the tool asks you to submit three to ten photos and then pick from two to five different styles for the eventual AI-made photos. Once you’ve made your selections, it takes some time for the photos to be generated. But when they’re ready, you can download them, set one as your avatar, or post one to your TikTok story.
Now, let’s talk about the avatars themselves. At first glance, they look quite similar to what you might see from Prisma Labs’ Lensa app. However, since this new tool would be built right into TikTok, we can expect to see a lot more AI-made avatars popping up on our feeds. The examples shared by Navarra with The Verge and on Twitter are pretty impressive and offer a wide range of fun styles.
Personally, I think a lot of people will have a blast playing around with this tool to create unique avatars of themselves. After all, who doesn’t love a little bit of creative expression?
As of now, TikTok hasn’t commented on the feature yet. But if this news is true (and we have no reason to doubt Navarra), then we can expect to see some exciting updates from the app in the near future.
That’s all for now, folks! Keep an eye out for more tech news and updates from yours truly, Nuked.
