Hello, my lovely followers! Today, we have some exciting news for all you tech enthusiasts out there. A real-life Pixel Fold has seemingly leaked for the very first time, and it looks like we have a lot to look forward to.
While we’ve seen plenty of renders and plastic mockups, this video gives us our first glimpse at what appears to be the real deal. The folding phone seems to come with a selfie camera up front, internal bezels, and a folding screen with rounded edges. It’s sleek and stylish, but it’s hard to say if it’s a Google device or a Samsung prototype.
Thankfully, we have reliable leaker Kuba Wojciechowski to shed some light on the matter. He claims that this is indeed the Pixel Fold, and while he can’t reveal much else on record, he confirms that the video is over a month old.
According to numerous leaks and rumors, the Pixel Fold will be officially announced at Google I/O on May 10th, with a release date in June. It’s expected to cost upwards of $1,700 for a 5.8-inch phone that folds out into a 7.6-inch tablet. The device will come equipped with a Google Tensor G2 processor, a 10oz weight, and “the most durable hinge on a foldable.” Additionally, Google reportedly plans to market the Pixel Fold’s battery as lasting 24 hours on a single charge.
Excitingly, this isn’t the only device that’s been spotted ahead of Google’s event. A Pixel Tablet was also captured on video today, giving us even more reason to look forward to May 10th.
All in all, it looks like we have an exciting few weeks ahead of us. Stay tuned for more updates and news on the Pixel Fold and other upcoming tech releases!
