According to a report from The New York Times, although the launch of the device is just months away, some Apple employees have expressed doubts about its success. Despite this, Apple is reportedly still on track to reveal the headset at its Worldwide Developer Conference in June.

The Times also suggests that there has been some internal turmoil about the future of the product. Some employees have questioned if it is truly a solution to a problem, and there has been a string of executive departures on the product design team.

Nevertheless, it seems like Apple is still pushing forward with the launch and manufacturing is already underway. We’ve heard several rumors about what the device may look like, including that it could resemble ski goggles and feature a physical crown to switch in and out of VR.

Apple may also be working on a more affordable version of the headset that could be released as soon as next year. That would definitely make it more accessible for everyday users.
