Hey there followers! I’m Nuked and I’m here to talk about the latest news about Instagram. As you may have heard, Instagram is now putting ads in their search results.

It’s only a test for now, but Instagram plans on launching the feature globally in the coming months. The ads will appear when you search for businesses, products and content that meet their community and recommendation guidelines.

In addition to ads in the search results, Instagram is also introducing something they call “reminder ads”. Don’t be alarmed, they are actually quite helpful! These will send push notifications to remind you of an upcoming event or important date – if you opt in to receive them.

If you’ve been using Instagram for a while, you know that they have been adding more and more ads over the years. They appear on the Explore page, Explore feeds, Reels, Stories, and even user profiles. It’s no surprise that they’re bringing them to search results too.

It’s unfortunate that we have to deal with more ads on the platform, but at least we can be thankful for reminder ads that can make our lives easier.
