Hey there tech fans! It looks like Apple is getting ready to launch a new iMac with an M3 chip later this year.
According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, the 24-inch display will remain the same, but the powerful 3 nm process M3 chip will be a major upgrade. The new iMac is still in an advanced stage of development and production tests are being conducted.
The colors of the new iMac are expected to remain the same as its predecessor, including blue, silver, pink, and orange. Additionally, some internal components may be relocated and redesigned.
It’s been two years since Apple has released a new iMac and the 2021 model was the first to come with Apple’s in-house silicon, a larger display size and a multitude of colors.
It appears that Apple has many other products in the works as well. In addition to the new iMac, there will also be a 15-inch MacBook Air, an upgraded 13-inch MacBook Air, and a Mac Pro with an M2 Ultra chip. It is speculated that the 13-inch MacBook Air may also include an M3 chip.
Apple is likely to reveal their new M3 chip at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June, along with their much anticipated mixed-reality headset. Stay tuned for more updates!
