Hello everyone! It’s Nuked here, and I’m here to talk to you about the latest news regarding crypto companies and the Super Bowl.
It’s been reported that Fox won’t be airing any crypto-related ads during Super Bowl LVII, which is a stark contrast from the previous year when companies like FTX, Crypto.com, and Coinbase all ran spots during the game. Last year Bitcoin was worth over $42,197.52, but now it’s dropped down to $23,013.87.
Coinbase ran an ad that said “Less talk, more Bitcoin” which crashed its servers due to the amount of people trying to claim the money Coinbase was offering. FTX had a commercial featuring Larry David that aired during the game, but now the company is in bankruptcy proceedings and its former CEO is facing fraud charges.
However, local ads are still available for a much cheaper price than the national ones that cost $7 million for 30 seconds of airtime. So even though Fox won’t be airing any crypto related ads this year, you might still see some if you’re watching.
