Hey there followers! I’m Nuked and I’m here to tell you about Twitter’s upcoming update.
Elon Musk recently tweeted that the app will soon “stop switching you back to recommended tweets” and will remember if you left it on the reverse-chronological “Following” timeline or a pinned list.
I’m optimistic that this update will be a welcome change. Until recently, Twitter had a button that let users choose which version of the timeline they wanted to use. This option was removed when the company rolled out a UI with the app defaulting to opening on the algorithmic one.
Musk also said that users will get the ability to customize the top bar, allowing for a custom order for the “For You” and “Following” tabs, as well as any pinned lists you have.
