Twitter Swipe Navigation: Easily Access Recommended Tweets, Trends, and Topics

Hey there followers! I have some exciting news to share with you all about Twitter. Starting in January, the platform will allow users to swipe between different views containing recommended and followed tweets, trends, topics, and more. This was announced by none other than Elon Musk himself in a recent tweet.

Previously, Twitter users could already switch between a chronological timeline showing the latest tweets in order and the Home timeline, which displays recommended tweets, by tapping the stars icon in the upper right corner of the screen. However, this new feature takes things a step further by adding extra views and making them more easily accessible through swiping. While it’s unclear exactly when this feature will be available to all users, it’s definitely an interesting addition to the platform.

I have to admit, while this new feature does seem somewhat useful, I can see myself accidentally swapping through different views while scrolling through my timeline. It’s just one of the many new (and perhaps not entirely necessary) features that Musk has unveiled for Twitter recently, including view counts on tweets, “prioritized ranking” in conversations for Blue subscribers, and square profile pictures for brands. But hey, it’s always fun to see what updates and changes are coming to our favorite social media platforms.
