If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to work on one of the world’s most famous video games, then you’ve come to the right place

After seven years in development, Albert Marin and his small team have completed their exhaustive reworking of Resident Evil 4’s graphics on PC.

The team had amassed over 4,500 Photoshop files and put in over 9,000 hours of work on the project. In some cases, old textures just did n’t look all that good at a higher resolution.

The company did n’t receive a cease and desist order from the franchise. The VR version was released on the quest 2.

The HD project can be installed as a patch for Resident Evil 4 on Steam. It does n’t make any adjustments. Instead, every rock, ammo box, doorknob – even the cutscene graphics – have been lovingly updated.
