Samsung has announced its first displays that will support the hdr10+ gaming standard. The new 2022 lineup of qled TVs and gaming monitors will be the first to support the standard.
Samsung teamed with Samsung to bring support for hdr10+ to redout 2 and pinball FX. redout 2 will both be showcased at CES 2022 (as long as the game developer does n’t drop out).
The Xbox series X and s already support at least ten games on Dolby vision. The games include Halo infinite, Gears 5, and call of Duty: Black Ops cold war.
Samsung says the standard will work’over 120Hz’ but does not go into detail. The standard targets four times its peak brightness.
