Unreleased tech demo from the year 2000 for a title tentatively called “The Simpsons: Bug Squad!”

Fox had been interested in a three-dimensional Simpsons game long before that – one that could have appeared on the Sega Dreamcast if things had worked out. The game was a groundbreaking self-referential parody of the entire gaming industry.

A dreamcast-talk forum user by the name of sreak found a demo just sitting on a broken Dreamcast dev kit’s hard drive. It’s remarkable how much the game’s cel-shaded graphics look like the show.

The bug squad is less understandable than the whole bug squad thing. What would your squad be compromised of?. Who would your team be compromised?.
