Former intelligence contractor and whistleblower reality winner has tested positive for covid-19. Winner is currently incarcerated in a federal medical prison in Fort worth, Texas. An outbreak has sickened hundreds of inmates and killed at least two.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported last week that 130 people had contracted covid-19 at the prison. An appeal is currently pending.

Winner’s sister says she is asymptomatic, and one of her cellmates also tested positive. Winner’s attorney, Joe Whitley, said he hopes the court will take the case into consideration.
