A leaked video and rumors suggest the new “Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G” might be ready for Samsung’s August 5th event

We have an entire leaked video and a set of rumors about the new’Galaxy Z flip 5G’. The first images leaked earlier this month suggest it might be ready for Samsung’s upcoming August 5th Galaxy unpacked event.

Basically, it looks like it’ll be the same folding phone but with a faster processor and 5G. It will be almost the same but has a faster processors and 5G.

Xda-Developers’ Max weinbach says it’ll be taller and thicker, and be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 865 plus chip – a small spec bump over the Snapdragon 855 plus that came in the original LTE.

For the Z flip 5G, the only part that changes is the SoC. The cameras stay the same at 12MP and 12MP. Software is one UI 2.5 which is mostly unchanged.

It’s 0.5mm thicker than the current flip and 0.1mm taller. It’s 0.1mm taller than current flip.

The phone may also have the same size battery, according to weinbach. The original was n’t a battery champ, and now it’ll have 5G and a faster processor.

The phone would likely have the Snapdragon 865 plus chip. Chinese telecommunications commission Tenaa also listed a’Samsung Galaxy Z flip 5G’ as a phone that would support wireless charging.
